Update sitemap on Google Search Console
- Whenever you make notable changes, be sure to update your sitemap with Google Search Console. There is a ton of free content out there on how to do this. It takes only a minute.
There are 2 main factors holding you back
- Lack of referring domains (backlinks) CRITICAL. Backlinks are links coming to your site from other reputable sites. This can be from other blog or news articles about you or your book. A great way to acquire more of these is to get more press, write a guest post on someone else's blog, collaborate with other blog owners, etc.
- Domain age IMPORTANT. This is not detrimental but more time under your belt with a good/live website will help tremendously.
